A day in the sun "Rice"

Rice belonged to Ashley, one of the most determined people I know in the business of caring for dogs of all kinds.  Although a German Shepherd Dog lover at heart, she has been involved in many ways with dogs for many years.  She is involved in dog rescue and owns/runs an innovative Doggy Daycare – The Canine College Club, in Manotick, Ontario.  Rice was what Ashley called her soul-mate. He was a wonderful working dog and an exceptional companion until he became fatally ill. I truly hope that this portrait is a warm reminder to Ashley of her dear pal, Rice.
